 I
have been in contact with ICSS for almost five years,
and I was proud to accept appointment as patron.
Thanks
to an impressive team of committed volunteer teachers,
ICSS provides effective supplementary schooling, and is
building good citizenship among the children who attend.
It encourages students to be creative, teaches them
about charity and helps them think about future
possibilities and their future careers. It is building
bridges between
Muslims
and the rest of the local community - not least through
their popular annual barbecue, which I enjoy attending.
I
welcome ICSS's contribution in building cohesion in our
community and helping to improve it. I have seen the
school go from strength to strength, and believe it
deserves strong support from the community.
